Unmotivated And Burned Out

Updated: May 9, 2022

What does it mean to be unmotivated? How do you reach the point of burn out? Do we allow the circumstances around us to determine our outcome? Sometimes things can look pretty bleak, as if the walls were caving in on us. But I'm often reminded that life goes in cycles and each season comes with a challenge. Today was one of those days; I did not want to do anything. I had a plan to hit three tasks on my list and at the end of the day, I did not complete none of those tasks. Have you ever felt unmotivated? I mean, where in your mind you want to get that to do list complete, but on the other hand, you just can't bring yourself to tackle any of it. It is okay to identify you are unmotivated or burned out. Once you realize you are in that space, it's time to take a step back and recalibrate. Reprioritizing our yes's vs our no's will help us to rethink our commitments as well as what is most important to us and our end goal.
