Falling into writing

When was the first time you put your pen to a pad to write. Do you remember when you sat down and wrote your first piece? The very first time I put pen to pad was on November 13, 1998, which is the day my father passed away. I cried the entire time and could barely see through my tears. Anyway, I wrote a poem entitle Death. This poem was my young minds way of trying to figure out this thing called death. I fell into writing because there was no one I could talk to. There I was, parentless, trying to figure my life out at the tender age of 15. So, I began my writing journey and one poem led to a book of poetry. As I got older, I started writing skits for classes and later for children’s church. That gave me exposure to my love of writing. I then moved onto books. My first book, I started writing in 2013 and stopped in 2013. I did not pick it up until 2016 and then I began to truly fall into writing. When did you fall into writing.
